I need to share more often with you,
things that I read.
Because I read and I read and I read,
and sometimes passages SPEAK to me so very deeply,
like someone wrote that passage just for me.
That is what I try to accomplish with these pages as well.
I recently bought a book called "Edge of Wonder: Notes from the Wildness of Being". It's a poetry book by Victoria Erickson.
Listen to this...
I know you are
tired. Yet you're
not at all tired
from having
said so much.
You're tired from
not saying all you
still need to say.
There's so much
that needs to seep out
of your skin. To be
held. To be seen. To
be known. And some
words are so strong,
a physical voice
can hardly hold
them. It simply
shakes under their
weight, as they're
released from our
cells, finally freed
from our bones. Keep
showing up for
your own life. Keep
being
courageously true.
To what aches to be
heard in those
silent depths of
you.

YES!
I read and I write...
to explore, to connect, to understand, to enjoy...
"To be held. To be seen. To be known."
ideas such as this, with people such as you.
In harmony,
