I accept that I only exist in this moment.
I accept that I cannot change the past
or the future.
I accept that I am imperfect,
that my ego affects my ability to hear, to see, and to understand clearly.
I accept that there is no finish line,
no one time easy answer,
no trophy at the end of this journey.
I accept my faults.
I accept that I want to be better,
and sometimes that will look like worse.
I accept that I will not always be happy,
that I will not always be grateful,
that I will not always be understanding.
I accept that life is supposed to be hard,
and suffering is meant to be a part of it.
I accept my selfishness.
I accept my limits.
I accept that there is an absolute truth,
and that I will never fully see it,
but I can approach it.
I accept my commitment to be better.
I accept my ambition to learn.
I accept my desire to love.
I accept my gifts and my blessings.
I accept my gratitude.
I accept that I will eventually die,
and that I must first live.
I accept the challenge.
I embrace the journey.
I embrace today,
and this very moment.
Yours in harmony,
Nestor
