What a difference a week makes…

It amazes me how quickly one can turn the corner on our attitude.

Life is far from perfect.  It’s when we expect perfection, even for a moment, that it all starts to fall apart.

When we can put into words what is bothering us, it goes from insurmountable to surmountable.

When we reset, even in motion, and focus on gratitude first… everything feels different.

The moment is the destination…

That is so hard to fully embrace, but so completely true.

What if we could live our lives simply focused on today… not in a way where we force it to end… not in a way where we live carelessly because there is no tomorrow…

But, in a mindset of today is the only day that I can feel.  Today is the only day that I can affect.  Today is the only day that I can feel gratitude, or share love, or construct relationships, or set direction, or take a deep breath, or enjoy a sunset…

Today becomes more important.

Today is just a longer version of this moment.

Harmony is not just about absolute truth and the energy to move each moment into what we want it to be….

Harmony is about focusing all of our energy on the next note… the only note that matters in this moment…

We lose our way when we try to change or wish we can change the future or the past…

My wife, son and I where looking through quotes for a project that he is working on – and we came across this one,

“If you want to predict the future, you must create it”  From Peter Drucker.  We thought it was appropriate and applicable.

But, the concept of harmony would argue that you cannot predict the future, nor can you create the future…

You can only create a different NOW… and if you can string together great purpose driven harmonic NOWs over time… than you can enjoy an ever more fulfilling NOW out in time… ;-)

Peter Drucker was an enlightened leader and writer…

I would argue, don’t try to predict the future.  You can’t!  Every moment you spend predicting the future you risk missing the now…

Live the now with purpose… construct the now with passion… enjoy the now with gratitude…

If you want live the life of your dreams, create a better NOW!

Yours in harmony,

Nestor
