Not a bad topic, for a time for "reflecting" ;-)
Ha - couldn't help myself.
The closer you are to me, the harder it is for my own reflection not to show up in your mirror.
That ties into the conversation of a few days ago.
My own criticality shows up in the reflection of those I care about most... and I must be careful with that.
When we stand to close together - it's less a reflection and at times more of a "selfie" ;-)
Perhaps I have taken this comparison too far, but perhaps not...
We often can be such better "reflectors" for people we barely know...
That is why often therapists, or the random person that sits next to you on a plane can be such a fantastic conversation partner.
When we relate, when we reflect...
We get to see ourselves AND the person we are reflecting on...
Life is about connection.
Life is about reflection.
A few more days in 2016...
