For most of my life disagreement has been the same as disharmony. I hated disagreement.
I wished to never disagree with those close to me.
Disagreement and disharmony ARE two completely different things.
It is by engaging caringly and with curiosity into disagreement that we find the shared truth.... So often the truer and greater truth!
Disagreement with caring conversation leads to growth and understanding and love.
NOTE - Be careful for those folks who only move away from disagreement by you leaving your position completely. They only engage in conversations to move your truth and not theirs... Those people lead to disharmony. Those willing to explore the disagreement with you openly and respectfully... Those are the "keepers" in your life...
Embrace disagreement with respectful conversation... And achieve greater harmony!
In short harmony ;-)
